Inspiration
As society accelerates and people are pushed to live increasingly efficient lives, transportation inevitably carries the responsibility of keeping up the pace. But where can people pause and take a breath? Is there a way to offer moments of relaxation, without compromising their work, simply by making their personal space more comfortable?
❋ Mono-material
This project was guided by a mono-material design strategy, using bamboo as the sole material to explore its diverse structural, tactile, and formal potentials.
❋ Transport interior system
Redefining modern transport interiors through sustainable innovation and a refined natural aesthetic.
❋ Knitting textile technique
The knitted textile’s inherent elasticity allows it to adapt fluidly to diverse interior geometries.
❋ Highly sustainable
Ensuring the highest level of sustainability throughout the entire process, from material selection and dyeing to the final knitting stage.
This work evokes a passion for life and a sense of ease amid the stress of daily routines. Inspired by moments of relaxation — at a resort, on a sofa, or in a bamboo lounger — the palette centers on warm brown tones, with minimal contrast. Natural dyes give the colors a soft, muted quality, refined through extensive material testing to create a calm and comforting atmosphere.
