About Jing

Fabric can be soft, but also resilient. It surrounds us every day, like a silent observer. It offers shelter from the cold and gives us dignity by covering our skin. Its flexibility fascinates me—I can’t stop thinking about how to explore its potential to create intimate moments of relief, and to help people immerse themselves in joy.

I’m a textile and CMF designer, as well as a fashion designer. I completed my undergraduate studies in Fashion Design at Jiangnan University in China, where my interest gradually shifted toward textiles. This led me to pursue a postgraduate degree at the Royal College of Art, specializing in knitting within the Textiles program.

My creative journey has always centered around people. In today’s fast-paced world, I began to wonder: can fabric offer a moment of relief—an emotional escape from stress and pressure? This question led me to explore CMF design as a way to enhance the emotional impact of materials and create textiles that bring comfort, calm, and connection.
